Battalion Chief John A. Joyce

Battalion Chief John Joyce is a twenty-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department. He currently serves as a Battalion Chief with one of the city's busiest ladder companies.

Battalion Chief Joyce served as the Captain of the FDNY's Tactical Training Unit at the FDNY Fire Academy at Randall's Island and is one of only a very few officers to have held that title.

Battalion Chief Joyce was responsible for training the department's firefighters, officers and chiefs in the latest firefighting equipment and techniques and in that capacity he also trained firefighters from around the world. He has trained both members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency and was honored for his training by the D.E.A.

Battalion Chief Joyce has been decorated on five separate occasions for bravery and saving lives. He was the recipient of the 2002 Henry D. Brookman Medal for Heroism.

Battalion Chief Joyce lives on Long Island with wife and two children.

Bill Bowen

Bill Bowen has written and produced television pilots, short films and promotional videos. He wrote and produced the short film, A Message From Home, which raised funds for various New York City Firefighter causes. Mr. Bowen is the CEO of a nationwide legal consulting firm and a title clearing business. He is the President of a homeowner's consumers group in California.

Mr. Bowen and his wife live in Southern California and he is a father of two grown children and grandfather of two.
